My Sunshine Garden — Where Little Hearts Grow Bright!

As parents, we want our children to be somewhere they feel safe, loved, comfortable, and happy — but we also want them to be learning, growing, and discovering the world around them every day. That is what we strive to create at My Sunshine Garden Daycare!

We are a Bilingual English and Spanish daycare in a warm, home-like setting where children can feel comfortable being themselves. We want your child to feel like they are spending their day in a second home — surrounded by caring teachers who know them, engage with them, and genuinely enjoy watching them grow.

Our days are filled with play-based, hands-on activities that allow children to explore, create, ask questions, and discover things for themselves.
Sometimes that means a craft project, building something together, or getting outside and following their curiosity wherever it leads. One day, for example, we made homemade binoculars using empty toilet paper rolls. Once the children finished creating them, we went outside onto our patio and turned it into a little adventure. They used their binoculars to look for animals, watch airplanes in the sky, and spot cars passing by.
It was a simple activity, but the children were creating, using their imagination, observing their surroundings, asking questions, and exploring the world around them — all while having fun. That's the kind of learning we love!

We have a big private patio that gives children room to run, move, play, explore, and enjoy being outside. We believe outdoor time is an important part of childhood. Whether they're looking for bugs, watching birds, playing games, or simply running around and enjoying the fresh air, children have opportunities to connect with nature and their surroundings.

Our teachers don't simply watch from the sidelines and supervise. We get down on their level, participate, encourage, create, play, and explore alongside them. Through crafts, building projects, sensory play, creative activities, and outdoor exploration, we help children develop their curiosity, confidence, and motor skills in ways that feel natural and enjoyable.

As someone who has babies and children in the family too, we know that leaving your child in someone else's care is a big decision. Safety matters. Trust matters. And knowing that your child is being cared for with patience and love matters.

Our daycare operates in a private residential setting inspected and approved to meet required child-safety standards. But beyond the physical safety of our space, we want your child to feel emotionally safe too — comfortable enough to play, explore, make mistakes, ask questions, and simply be a kid - because childhood goes by so fast!

Here at My Sunshine Garden, we want children to leave our daycare having learned something new, created something they're proud of, played hard, laughed, explored, and felt cared for. We don't want them to simply spend the day here, but to enjoy their day here!
